This has been a month where almost our entire focus has been on how we can improve the speed of the home buying and selling process. From our regular articles looking at how to keep aborted transactions to a bare minimum, to our support for the Home Buying & Selling Group’s recently-published pledge, the CA is committed to speeding up the process and the methods we can utilise to achieve this.
There is great support within the industry and Government for measures to improve the speed of transactions too, and we have reached a point where not only can we utilise technology to do this, but we can simply ramp up the efficiency of what we work with already. The HBSG pledges sets out what various stakeholders can do, including conveyancers, but also how we can urge others, particularly agents/clients/advisers/surveyors, to act much sooner than they currently do.
